Sandurot Local Producers Bazaar Opening

Inclined to the celebration of the Sandurot Festival 2017 of Dumaguete City, the Local Producers Bazaar had their ribbon cutting yesterday September 13, 2017. The public opening was led by the Dumaguete Mayor Felipe Antonio “Ipe” Remollo and other officials.

The Local Bazaar of Food, Crafts and Arts is located in Burgos Street of Dumaguete City. This street selling aims to promote the local products of the city. The stalls are selling different products such as native woven baskets, crochet hats, earrings, wooden slippers, T-shirts souvenirs, wood on string souvenirs, paintings and drawing, cakes, pastries, and paper beads. The Local Producers Bazaar will be opened in Burgos Street for five days; until the concluding events of Sandurot Festival are held.

The ribbon cutting of the City Mayor was joined by the DUFAS members, local producers and Councilors Lilani Ramon, Michael Bandal, Karissa Tolentino, Alan Gel Cordova, City Administrator Ricardo Gonzales Jr., and Manuel Arbon, Estanislao Alviola.Sandurot Festival - Local Producers Bazaar Opening

Other Sandurot Festival Events

There are different events during the week-long celebration of the Sandurot Festival. This includes the Sandurot Festival Street Dancing and Showdown Competition, fireworks display, and much more. During the five days of the Local Producers Bazaar, events such as Duma Comida (food festival) and Drone Night Exhibition will be held.
