PADI Project AWARE Week 2018

Each year on the month of September, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) holds an event called Project AWARE. This event is to help keep the ocean clean and restore awareness not only for certified divers but for non-divers as well. For this year’s AWARE Week, local dive resorts will be making clean up divers from the 15th – 23rd of September 2018.

It is all about catering the deeper meaning of connection to the ocean and to one another. The main goal of this kind of projects is to help divers across the world to discover a way of protecting the ocean by becoming the ambassadors and ambassadress of good will.
