Tornado hits Bacolod – 3 injured

Yesterday, May 4, 2016, at around 10:35am, three persons are hurt when a tornado hit Bacolod City. Reports have found that it swept through Barangay Magballo in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

The Provincial Social Welfare Development Office chief, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, was able to note that 12 houses were devastated and 70 more were damaged together with 2 elementary school classrooms, a school toilet and a chapel.

Relief operations and food assistance are now being delivered to the victims.
