Bayawan 2016 Photography Competition
In accordance with the Tawo-tawo Festival of Bayawan, a photo contest will be occurred in some of the tourist attractions of Bayawan. The Bayawan Tourism Tour for Photo contest tour will be held today, February 6.
2016 Photography Competition
The Photo contest had their registration period dated from December 01, 2015 until January 31, 2016 and only the first 20 registrants will be included in the contest. The contest is open to all Bayawanons and non-Bayawanons 16 years old and above. The themes for the contest include: Agriculture lifestyle, Bayawanihan way of life, Natural Heritage and events and festivals.
Rules and Regulation
A participant may only submit a maximum of three entries by February 1 to February 19 only. A 1-day or 2-days Bayawan tour will be scheduled for the said participants. Participants must submit a hard copy and a soft copy of their photo. Soft copy must be in jpeg form with a maximum size of 5 MB. While the hard copy should be printed on an A4-size photo paper pasted on the black side of an illustration board with a 1-inch boarder/margin.
There will be two categories for the awarding. The first category is the Judge’s Choice Award. This category will be voted by certain judges after the submission of all the photos. The second category for the Photography Competition is the Facebook Popularity Award. This is the category where people online (Specifically Facebook) will vote on which photos are the best.
Awards
The winner of the Judges Choice Award and the Facebook Popularity Award will receive ten thousand pesos (P 10, 000), plaque and a certificate. The second prize for the contest is five thousand pesos (P 5, 000) and a certificate, while the third prize is three thousand pesos (P 3, 000) and a certificate.
