Davao Mayor Frontrunner for becoming new President
Rodrigo Duterte of PDP-Laban have been the subject of much black propaganda as he have been topping the commissioned surveys in the country.
From a rumored billion peso bank account to a million dollar account, there is also hearsay showing a lucrative list of hidden wealth and properties which spans much of the country. It is clear that the mayor of the southern city of Davao has a huge lead in Monday’s presidential elections as millions of registered voters rallied their support for the veteran mayor of Davao city. Since the beginning of the campaign period until the eve of Election Day, at least 15 people have been killed and 9 other people wounded in a series of election related violence across the Philippines.
The Commission on Elections has ordered a gun ban to be implemented in order to ensure the national polls to be peaceful and secure. A liquor ban on the 8th has been strictly implemented in almost all establishments nationwide. The Comelec has also required the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to implement the “no-fly” zones in selected areas for security reasons.
