Kalag-Kalag 2021 – Dumaguete City Visiting Hours & Passes
In celebration of Kalag-Kalag 2021, Dumaguete City cemeteries and memorial parks will be closed from October 29 to November 2, 2021. Kalag-Kalag is the local term for All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day. Under Dumaguete City Executive Order No. 17 Series of 2021, people may visit their departed loved ones at the cemeteries and memorial parks before and after the Kalag-Kalag Season. However, 143 passes will be given per visiting schedule to limit the number of people and avoid spreading COVID-19.

Saturdays & Sundays (October 24 & November 6 &7)

Restrictions and Prohibitions:
- Visit to memorial parks, cemeteries and columbaria shall be limited to not more than 10 persons per group, and not exceeding 30% of the venue capacity.
- Kalag-Kalag Passes shall only be distributed 3 days in advance of the visiting schedule, per cemetery and memorial park.
- There shall be designated areas specifically for flowers, candles, and ambulant vendors near the vicinities in Barangays: Taclobo, Daro, Bagacay, and Cadawinonan.
- Upon entry on these premises, strict observation of wearing of face masks, thermal checking, and hand sanitation.
- Traffic routing scheme shall be strictly implemented.
- No Kalag-Kalag Pass, No Entry!
- No food and liquor allowed inside the cemetery.
- No deadly, sharp, or bladed weapon.
