CityMall Dumaguete – Grand Opening
The CityMall Dumaguete branch located along the National Road is now open! The grand opening was held yesterday afternoon at 3 pm. Different stores and stalls had their ribbon cutting a few hours before the grand opening of the mall.

CityMall Dumaguete has the basic needs of a shopping center with more than 41 stalls, food booths, and stores. The CityMall has different stores and stalls including: Jollibee, Inasal, Watsons, Galleon Drive, Bong-Bong’s Pasalubong, Uber Park, LBC, BDO, Oppo, Mi Department Store, Red Ribbon, Chowking, SM Appliances, Vintage Vision, Qualfon, PHCCI, Waffle Time, Mister Donut, ACE and much much more! Open from 9 AM-9 PM.
The Grand Opening
Hundreds of people awaited the front entrance of the mall. It was held with different dancing introduction numbers of festivity and the famous Chinese Dragon (for good luck). Filipino actor, model, and swimmer Ernest Lorenzo “Enchong” Velasquez Dee was also the celebrity start joining the grand opening of the mall.
VIPs and sponsors are given a sticker bracelet with different color coding to indicate their importance. Minor cleaning and finishing touches were made just before the front main entrance was open to the public. Both local Dumagueteños and guests joined in the grand opening of the new CityMall Dumaguete.
After the grand opening, the special Sadurot Festival dancers and celebrity star was brought to the Dumaguete Bell tower to celebrate the “50th ASEAN Founding Anniversary”. Different project band performed with the celebrity star at around 6:50 pm.
