AirAsia Airline Finally in Dumaguete
AirAsia will finally fly from Dumaguete City to Manila and vice versa starting April 8, 2022. It will be the third commercial airline that will fly through the capital of Negros Oriental. They will have their domestic ticketing offices at the Sibulan-Dumaguete airport terminal. A grand opening event will be held at the Dumaguete Pantawan, Rizal Boulevard.

The event at the Rizal Boulevard will start at 3:30 pm with a fireworks display at 10:00 pm. The event will have a performance given by local and national artists, singers, dancers, and musicians. Special guests for the event will include KZ Tandingan, Jimmy Marquez, and Leah Patricio. Free admission for anyone who downloads the AirAsia super app.
