Donnie Liboon Nietes aka Ahas (Tagalog for snake) is 35-year-old native from Negros Oriental, Philippines. He weighs 108 lbs and stands 5’2 feet tall. He has a record of 40-1-4 (win-loss-draw) with 22 knockout wins with his last fight held last April 29, 2017, against Thailand boxer, Komgrich Nantapech. Boxer Donnie “Ahas” Nietes is in three boxing division (namely: light flyweight, flyweight, and minimumweight) and have recently held the titles as WBO and The Ring magazine.
Life after Boxing
During his 10th reigning anniversary, Donnie Nietes showcased his belts at The Park Social at the Cebu IT Park last Saturday, September 30, 2017. During an interview, he mentioned his plans regarding his life after the boxing career. The boxer owns several properties and houses in Cebu & Murcia thanks to his successful boxing career. Donnie Nietes has now dared on pursuing business by selling rice and animal feeds.
“I put up a business to prepare myself for life after boxing. This way, I can keep myself busy,” said Nietes

Donnie “Ahas” Nietes admitted that he won’t be able to stay on the top forever. He will only be active for a few more years, maybe two or three years, until he will turn his back on his boxing career. Although he is prepared for life after his boxing career, he still has to focus on the remaining time for his fights. This November, Donnie “Ahas” Nietes will be expected to defend his title against mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Reveco, an Argentinian two-division world champion with a record of (39-3-0, 19KOs).
