UNO-R Rams to Join Unigames

The men’s basketball team of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos (UNO-R) has confirmed their participation in the 21st University Games (Unigames) set to open on Sunday in Dumaguete City.  This was announced by the UNO-R Rams head coach Gerome Aledron, adding that his team will be leaving for Dumaguete this weekend.

Aledron said that he will be bringing the same team that won the championship in the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) with the addition of Leonard Mustre, son of a former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player.  The Rams will be going against 12 other teams from all over the country.

According to Aledron, the Unigames will be part of their preparation for the NOPSSCEA Season 36 Men’s Basketball Competition that will start on November 6 in Bacolod City.
