Attending Prayers with a Broken Shoe

The former Davao City Mayor, now President of the Philippines, arrived at the Jose Maria College David’s Coffeeshop at Sunday midnight straight from a campaign sortie in Pasay City. The moment he went out of the vehicle to go inside the coffeeshop, the mayor was described to be dragging his right leg. It turned out, the sole of his right shoe was already loose, and he was trying to keep it on.

The president was attending a prayer by his friend Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC). A member of the KJC said that someone stepped on his shoes, that’s why it broke.

Natumban daw mao nadaot ang shoes” a KJC member said.
