Philippines for Miss Universe 2015
The Miss Universe 2015 will be celebrating its 64th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held on December 20, 2015 at The AXIS, Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be aired by Fox and Azteca for the very first time. This Miss Universe 2015 pageant has 80 young lovely candidates from all over the world to compete over the crown and title, which is held at the moment by Miss Universe 2014 title holder Miss Paulina Vega of Colombia.
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is the Filipino-German representative of the Philippines for the Miss Universe 2015. Miss Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is an actress, model, host, TV personality, chef, beauty writer, stylist and make-up artist. She is also the title holder of Miss Binibining Pilipinas 2015 national pageant as Miss Universe Philippines 2015.
Miss Universe candidates in National costumes
This show for Miss Universe, which happened after the preliminary competition, was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada last Wednesday (December 16, 2015). Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who is the representative of Philippines, looked stunning in the capiz terno (term used to describe Miss Pia Wurtzbach’s costume that is made up of capiz shell) she wore for the national costume show for the 64th Miss Universe.

Miss Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach’s costume was made by Albert Andrada, which was announced as the top 5 best national costume of the show. The costume/ gown originated from Albert Andrada’s capiz shell establishment creation during the Inquirer Fashion Face Off 2014, which was then transformed into a terno (women’s native formal attire) for Miss Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
