Philippine Holidays 2022
Philippine Holidays 2022 is now officially out! President Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation 1236. In the said proclamation, it lists down the regular holidays, non-working days, and special working days for the year 2022. However, the president will issue separate proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eid’l Fitr, and Eid’l Adha after the dates of these Islamic holidays are determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar or the lunar calendar. The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos shall inform the Office of the President of the dates on which these holidays will fall in 2021.

Furthermore, the proclamation reads “For the country to recover from the adverse economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a need to encourage economic productivity by, among others, minimizing work disruption and commemorating some special holidays as special (working) days instead”.
