Palarong Pambansa 2017 Venue: Antique or Dumaguete

The remaining bidders for hosting the Palarong Pambansa 2017 are down to two after the withdrawal of Danao City. Cezar Abalon, Director for Sports of the Department of Education (DepEd), said that November 18, 2016 is the date for the final presentation and evaluation of bids of the Province of Antique and Dumaguete City to be held at the DepEd’s central office in Pasig City.

This will be the first for Antique. Governor Rhodora Cadiao said that this would be an opportunity for the Palaro delegations and officials to discover what Antique has to offer.
