Miss Silliman 2017 Coronation Night
Inclined with the celebration of the Silliman University 116th Founder’s Day, Miss Silliman was held as one of the highlights of the long jolly celebration. The Miss Silliman coronation night was held last night about 7:30 pm.

The coronation night of Miss Silliman was held at the Lamberto Macias Sport and Cultural Complex while other categories for the pageant were set at different days (August 17: pre-pageant & talent night). The pageant marks the 71st Miss Silliman celebration. Ten candidates representing different fields of colleges and one High School representative battle their way to the title and crown of Miss Silliman.
The coronation night went smoothly with the different categories of production number, (themed attire) goddess of epitome, evening gown and question and answers in between. The Lamberto Macias Sport and Cultural Complex was packed with supports especially from the High School, CBA and CSS department. The show took a total of about four hours until the Miss Silliman 2017 was announced.
Silliman University Founder’s Day
There are different events celebrated during the Silliman founder’s celebration. This includes the Hibalag Opening, Hibalag Festival King & Queen Night, Silliman Parade and of course the Founder’s Day itself. The month-long celebration of the Silliman is packed with so many events and activities not only for the Silliman students and staff but for Dumagueteños as well.
