The Miss Amlan 2017 Coronation Night was held last November 27, 2017, at the Amlan Multi-Purpose gym with eight lovely candidates competing for the title and crown.

Miss Amlan 2017 – Coronation Night

Miss Amlan 2017 was graced by the newly crowned Miss Dumaguete 2017 Lexandrea Dela Cerna, who won the pageant last November 22, 2017. Another honorable guest who judged the coronation night was Buglasan Festival King 2017 2nd Runner Up.

The beauty pageant of Miss Amlan 2017 had only four main categories during the coronation night; production number, swimwear, evening gown and the Q&A. The Miss Amlan 2017 Talent Night, however, was held days before the coronation night as a pre-pageant competition.

Production Number

The event started on time with the usual opening prayers and singing of the national anthem. The words of welcome were also given by the Amlan Mayor. After the introduction of the judges, it was time to start the show. The eight lovely candidates were showcased in a fitting red dress for the production number of the Miss Amlan 2017 Coronation Night. A quick music intermission was made and then it was time for the next round of the competition, the swimwear!

Swimwear Competition

In the next round of the competition, the candidates graced the stage in their fashionable black swimwear and a colorful scarf as an accessory. After the quick walk in their swimwear, the candidates were given time to jump into their gowns as the audience was entertained by a few more intermission numbers.

Evening Gown

For this year’s Miss Amlan 2017, the candidates were themed to wear a purple shaded gown for the said portion of the competition. Each of the candidates showed their own elegance as they walk their gown on stage. A quick question and answer was made before the giving of the different awards. Over all, the Miss Amlan 2017 was a successful event that went to a smooth flow.

Congratulation to the new Miss Amlan 2017!
