COVID-19 Quarantine Pass in Dumaguete City

Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio “Ipe” Remollo has released yesterday the samples of the quarantine pass. Inclined to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Negros Oriental, the quarantine pass will be mandatory in order to leave the house.

Enhanced Community Quarantine in Negros Oriental

Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo has signed an executive order that will mandate everyone in the province to stay at home. This will start on April 3, 2020. While the province is under Enhanced Community Quarantine, no one can go out of their homes, unless they have a quarantine pass. Only when buying groceries, medications and other necessities are allowed. The curfew will still be strictly followed. All shows must close and everyone should be at home by 9 pm-5 am. Anyone who violates this, must stay at the barangay hall or designated isolation until the curfew is done.

Dumaguete City – Quarantine Pass

For people to buy their necessities, the government office of Dumaguete decided to have a uniformed quarantine pass. There will be three color-coded passes (red, black & blue). With this, people can be monitored and checked. Each barangay will be given the quarantine pass after the people have signed their names to the respective barangay captains.  Here are the rules for the color-coded passes:

RED
Monday (7am-12) & Thursday (1pm-6pm)

BLACK
Tuesday (7am-12nn) & Saturday (1pm-6pm)

BLUE
Wednesday (7am-12nn) & Friday (1pm-6pm)

These Quarantine Passes can access:

1. Food, Medicine and other essentials
2. Medical needs & hospitalization

Reminders:

1. Wear FACE MASK at all times.
2. Observe 1 METER SOCIAL DISTANCE and AVOID OVER CROWDING.
3. Surrender your ID and DRIVER’S LICENSE in Check Points.
4. Wear HELMET when driving your motorcycle.
