A friendly reminder for all the foreign residents, guests, and aliens of Dumaguete City and the Philippines. It is that time of the year where all foreign nationals registered at the Bureau of Immigration must make their annual renewal. The first 60 days (From January 1 to March 1), all aliens must make their visit to the Bureau of Immigration Office.
Announcement for the Annual Report Guidelines:
The Annual Report implements RA562, Sec.10 that every alien subject to the provision of this Act shall, within the first sixty days of every calendar year, report in person to the Bureau of Immigration.
- Original ACR I-Card;
- Official Receipt amounting to P310 covering payment of Annual Report fee;
- Online encoding of BI AR Form 2014-08-002A Rev 1 or 2014-08-002B Rev 1 via AR 2019 online system and presentation of printed AR 2019 confirmation number with reported information details issued by BI website (for aliens who failed to accomplish the AR forms online in the previous Annual Reports);
- Undertaking to fulfill BI obligations (in the case of aliens with CA 613 and RA 562-related issues).
ANNUAL REPORT PERIOD
The Annual Report 2019 shall be held from 1 January to 1 March 2019. Late compliance shall be penalized by fine and/or imprisonment or both at the option of the Commissioner of Immigration.
Those who failed to report within the prescribed AR period shall submit a Motion for Reconsideration (MR) for late payment of AR (P500 MRF, P10 LRF) in addition to the 200 per month with a maximum penalty of P2,000 per year. A fraction of a month shall be considered one month.
All AR-implementing officers shall ensure that the alien complied with the Annual Report 2014 and that an existing AR 2015 Form Number in our database has been recorded before proceeding with the 2019 assessment.
