DepEd ready for K to 12 program

Three public schools, the Dumaguete City High School, Taclobo High School, Dumaguete Science High School together with other 12 private school are ready to implement Senior High School this year. The officer in-charge, Dr. Evangel Luminarias said during the Kapihan sa PIA forum on SHS and Brigada Eskwela recently that a total of 15 schools will be offering SHS in Dumaguete.

K to 12 preparation successful

Their preparation for this program are construction of six additional classrooms and they also bought the necessary equipment for different tracks offered by the schools. Parents do not have to worry about the cost as these three public school will be supported by the government. Subjects offered are mostly practical to ease students learning and it differ for each schools.
